We led the development of the Economic and Financial Cases, providing modelling outputs from the sub-regional transport model (SRTM), which we developed, and undertaking WebTAG compliant economic appraisal, including evaluation of social and distributional impacts. We also provided strategic advice and support on other elements of the business case including the strategic, management and commercial cases.
An LSTF bid business case which gave due consideration to all elements of the LSTF bid (physical, behavioural change and smartcard interventions) and included innovative approaches to modelling the benefits of smarter choices measures. The funding decision will be made by the DfT in June 2012.
Close liaison with TfSH Officers, workstream leaders, the SRTM team and the DfT to develop an appropriate, proportionate appraisal of the LSTF bid and full business case. We utilised outputs from the SRTM and empirical evidence on the benefits of different package elements to develop the Economic Case.
The study was undertaken between September 2011 and January 2012.
